The University of Jos has suspended an associate professor of law, who was allegedly caught cheating during an examination on May 4, Premium Times reports Benedicta Dauda, a former head of the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law of the Faculty of Law was allegedly caught copying from a prepared answer during an examination for a Master’s degree in Research and Public Policy in the Faculty of Social Sciences. Mrs Daudu was also suspended from the Presidential Advisory Committee against Corruption following the report.

A truck transporting cool drinks broke down on the N12 West Motorway between Voortrekker and Comaro Road off ramps, South Africa on December 2. Many people were killed with several others injured in a fierce gun battle between Troops and Boko Haram members in Kangarwa area of Borno State. There has been little improvement in the maternal mortality rate over the past few decades and according to Unicef, 732 mothers die for every 100,000 live births.
