It was a joyous moment as the conjoined twins who were successfully separated at the Kenyatta National Hospital on November 2, 2016, finally got to see each other face-to-face for the first time since the delicate surgery. LIB recalls that a team of 50 Kenyan doctors successfully separated the twins; Favour and Blessing, whose lower backs were fused, in a 23-hour surgery. History was made this week in Mexico as a father played with his son for the same team when top Mexican football club Cruz Azul took on Pumas. The dad, Chaco Gimenez (35 years), a legendary Argentine-born midfielder, was playing in the game and in the final stages of the game was joined on the pitch by his son, Santiago who is just 15- much to applause from the crowd. Police arrests man for killing his 16-yr-old step-daughter and selling her head to his son for N3,000

The Ogun state police command have arrested 63-year-old man, Korede Odubela pictured left, for allegedly killing his 16-year-old step-daughter, Amudat Oshimodi, and selling her head to his son, Seun, a herbalist, who allegedly paid N3,000 as first installment. According to Vanguard, the suspect reportedly connived with one Lekan Lawal, to commit the crime at Imosan Area of Ijebu Ode Local Government Area of the state. Odubela alongside Lawal strangled Amudat and then severed her hand and head which they later sold to his son who is a herbalist.

According to Ani Amatosero who shared the photo on her Instagram page, Leo Mezie is back in Nigeria after a successful surgery in London. The actor was diagnosed with Kidney disease five months ago and solicited for N10 million naira from well meaning Nigerians to help him undergo a kidney transplant surgery.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday 15, November, arraigned the duo of Patrick Shanchi Nwokike and his wife Rosemary Ifeoma Nwokike along with their company ‘Lets Partner With You Limited’ before Justice Dugbo R. O. Oghoghorie of the Federal High court Enugu, on a four count charge of; Advanced Fee Fraud and Carrying Out Banking Business without valid License, an offence which runs contrary to the provisions of section 2(1) of the Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act. According to a statement released yesterday by the agency.

Yoruba actress, Kudirat Ajimat has passed away. A statement released by Theatre Arts and Movie Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Ogun State Chapter, on Tuesday confirmed the news of her death. Part of it read: "The news of her death got to us this morning as a shocker but we don’t have power to stop God from doing what is right in HIS sight. We will seriously miss you and your friendly lifestyle. RIP."
