A Zimbawean woman was disgraced in public after she was caught red-handed stealing from a supermarket by vigilant security men who accosted her and forced her to confess to the crime. The lady identified as Charmaine Manenji, is believed to be a mother of two. Among what she stole were alcohol and meat before she was caught.
38 'mentally challenged' people on the streets arrested by Abuja city officials

The Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB) said on Monday that it arrested 38 mentally deranged persons on the street, and had taken them to rehabilitation centre. Mr Samuel Musa, Assistant Head, Public Relations Officer, disclosed that the effort was in collaboration with Social Development Secretariat (SDS) FCT. Musa said that the board monitors FCT neighbourhood to ensure that such people are captured and handled over to SDS, for rehabilitation and repatriation to their original destinations. A ‘suya’ meat seller in Enugu State was weekend nabbed while reportedly stealing meat from a butcher’s shed at the popular Ogbete main market in the state. Marketers at the abattoir section, located at Akwata side of the market, before now, were said to have raised the alarm over the ‘mysterious’ disappearance of meat from their shed. A Swedish firefighter Lasse Gustavson, who has lived with severe burns on his face for almost 35 years, has received an apology from Facebook after they deleted a photo he shared on the social networking site. Patients of a Hospital in Rongo sub-county, Kenya were horrified after they had to sleep next to a corpse for eight hours. After the patient who was brought into the hospital critically ill died around midnight on Thursday, his corpse was not removed until the next day.by 4:00pm. Racy pictures of a pretty 24-year-old have been posted on the web, sparking a scandal her recent appointment. The political chiefs in Ukraine have defended their appointment of the young lady, Fashionista Anastasia Deeva who was recently been named Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, after 'pornographic' photographs of her were shared online. Some of the photographs show the young woman with her breasts exposed while others appear to be pornographic. Other pictures seem to show her naked or wearing only underwear. However, her bosses have defended their decision to appoint.
