Radar Online claims Jay Z is ‘stressed out’ over Beyonce’s pregnancy

How do these tabloids know what happens inside this couple's bedroom? Lol. Read the report below..
Beyonce’s pregnancy hasn’t exactly been the relationship fix that fans expected, RadarOnline.com has learned: An insider said that instead of basking in baby joy with his wife, Jay Z is “incredibly stressed out!”
“Jay Z is basically waiting on Beyonce hand-and-foot right now,” a source close to the billionaire couple said. “She is not moving from her bedroom unless she absolutely has to!”
“He told Beyonce that he is going to do everything that he can to make sure she is comfortable, but it is already starting to wear thin on him!”
As previously reported, Jay Z, 46, is dealing with a nasty paternity case brought against him by Rymir Sattertwaite, 23 – who claims that he is the rapper’s son after Jay Z allegedly had steamy sex sessions with Rymir’s mother, Wanda, in 1992.
Coupled with the fact that Jay Z and Beyonce ALREADY have a four-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy , in school right now, the insider told Radar it is just too much for him to handle!
“Beyonce has Jay Z on double-daddy duty. Not only is he taking care of Blue Ivy and Beyonce, but he is also in charge of everything right now,” the insider claimed.
“She told him she wanted to have a stress-free pregnancy and all of her stress has completely fallen on him!”

Donald Trump will not be allowed to address Parliament on UK state visit, Speaker John Bercow says

According to UK Parliament, Donald Trump is not fit to speak with them when he visits the UK. Read the report from Independent UK below...
Donald Trump will not be welcome to address Parliament on his state visit to the UK because of his racist and sexist attitudes, the Speaker of the House of Commons has said in a major snub to the American President.
In a dramatic intervention, John Bercow, the Speaker, said he was “strongly opposed” to Mr Trump speaking in the Commons as he stressed that being invited to address Parliament was “not an automatic right” but “an earned honour”.

“Before the imposition of the migrant ban I would myself have been strongly opposed to an address by President Trump in Westminster Hall," Mr Bercow told MPs.

“After the imposition of the migrant ban by President Trump I am even more strongly opposed to an address by President Trump in Westminster Hall.”

Parts of the Commons erupted into rare spontaneous applause in support of Mr Bercow’s statement.
The intervention will cause headaches in Downing Street, where Theresa May has bent over backwards to rekindle the so-called special relationship with the US.

Veteran Labour MP Dennis Skinner, speaking after Mr Bercow’s statement said: “Further to that point of order: two words: well done.”

The Speaker said: “We value our relationship with the United States. If a state visit takes place, that is way beyond and above the pay grade of the Speaker.

“However, as far as this place is concerned I feel very strongly that our opposition to racism and to sexism and our support for equality before the law and an independent judiciary are hugely important considerations in the House of Commons.”

Theresa May invited Mr Trump to make a state visit to the UK on her recent trip to the United States. She said he would fly to Britain before the end of the year.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and others have said that the visit should be cancelled until Mr Trump rescinds his “Muslim ban” on travellers from some countries.

Whether the controversial president would address Parliament has been a particular source of contention. Foreign leaders on state visits sometimes address Westminster Hall, which lies in the House of Commons, or Royal Gallery in the House of Lords.

Mr Trump’s visit is fast emerging as a political minefield. His team are reportedly hoping avoid any meeting with Prince Charles, whose environmental campaigning might put him at odds with the president

I have no Twitter account and I wasn't deported, says Ibori

Read the press statement below...
Chief James Onanefe Ibori wishes to inform the general public that he has no Twitter Account at all. In a press statement signed by Chief Ibori’s Media Assistant, Tony Eluemunor, the former Governor of Delta State explained that reports reached him Sundayafternoon that a Twitter handle in his name (@ChiefIbori), with his picture too, has been trending on the internet.
His media office immediately reached out to some journalists such as to warn Nigerians not to fall victim to the fraudster who created that Twitter Account for whatever reason. We can only suspect that a confidence trickster must have created that account to lure incredulous Nigerians into a 419 trap.

Please, Chief Ibori would like the general public to disregard that account and to stop assessing the Twitter handle over matters or discussions affecting him as he neither nor those working for him created that Twitter handle or has ever commented on it.  The Twitter administrators have been advised to shut down the account and whenever Ibori sees the need to create a Twitter account, the public would be so advised.

Second, Ibori wishes to correct the impression created by some news reports that he was deported from the UK. He said: “Even though I had wanted to publicise my return to Nigeria so that wrong meanings would not be read into the public interest I knew my presence in Nigeria would elicit, and also  because I never wanted any crowd that would gather because of me to disturb a single Nigerian in the course of their duties, all my efforts to keep the trip secret failed. The airline that brought me into Nigeria is public knowledge. So, too, my disembarkation Airport.

So, it would be easy to verify that I was not deported because the deporting country’s officials would always hand over deportees to Nigerian Immigration officials and documents would also be exchanged. Those who have chosen to report lies, and claim that I was deported know that no document exists anywhere in the world to back up those malicious claims.

Most of all, a record of documented letters between Ibori’s solicitors and the British Home off exist which proves beyond all reasonable doubts that Ibori was granted leave to exit Britain “voluntarily”, and he announced, as was reported by both the Reuters and the BBC, and several Nigerian news outlets that he would return to Nigeria in a matter of days. He did not announce the exact day so as to avoid the situation that would result in crowd control challenges for the security services.

Moreover, last week Tuesday, 31st January Ibori confirmed in his last court appearance in Britain that he will appeal his conviction because the trial was riddled with corruption and other reasons.

The court could not fix a date for confiscation hearing in deference to Ibori’s impending appeal, and so adjourned hearing till 17th March; so the confiscation hearing will not start till after the appeal against Ibori’s conviction. This remains one of Ibori’s greatest victories since the London case started.

Ibori's Counsel requested for the adjournment in the hope that the appeal would have been filed before 17th March, thereby putting the confiscation hearing on hold.

Signed: Tony Eluemunor

Ibori’s Media Assistant.

Lagos State plans to remove Yellow Buses (Danfo) from Lagos roads

Today, Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode revealed that plans are in motion to remove yellow buses popularly known as Danfo from Lagos roads for a more efficient, well-structured and world class mass transportation system that would facilitate ease of movement within the city.

Speaking at the 14th Annual Lecture of the Centre for Values in Leadership (CVL) held at Muson Centre in Onikan with the theme: “Living Well Together, Tomorrow: The Challenge Of Africa’s Future Cities,” Governor Ambode admitted that the present connectivity mode in Lagos was not acceptable and befitting for a mega city, and as such a well-structured transportation mode would soon be put in place to address the challenge.

“When I wake up in the morning and see all these yellow buses and see Okada and all kinds of tricycles and then we claim we are a mega city, that is not true and we must first acknowledge that that is a faulty connectivity that we are running. Having accepted that, we have to look for the solution and that is why we want to banish yellow buses this year. We must address the issue of connectivity that makes people to move around with ease and that is where we are going' he said. He continued to say, “For instance, people going from Ikorodu to CMS have started leaving their cars at home because the buses are very convenient and so why can’t we do that for other places? Yes, we don’t have the money to do that but we can go to the capital market and then improve on the technology of collection of fares and that will encourage investors and then the city will change,

LIB exclusive: The police hasn't told us they are banning the protest- 2face foundation says, reacts to Blackface's comments

2face foundation, owned by singer 2face Idibia who is part of the organizers of the February 6th nationwide protest, says they are in talks with the Lagos state police command and that the police hasn't told them they are banning the protest.

Speaking exclusively to LIB this morning, 2face's manager and an executive of 2face foundation, Efe Omoroge, said the police has not informed them that the planned protest has been banned.
"We have reached out to them. We are having conversations with them. I am not sure the news making the rounds about the protest is true. The feedback from the police authorities is quite different from that. I am not sure about the source of the police story and how true it is. The police has not told us they are banning the protest. We are in talks with them. They have not communicated that to us either in words, written form or body language. Maybe you should reach out to the police authorities to clarify their stance but on behalf of the 2face foundation, we do not think that is true because that is not the feedback we have received. We do not think the police will be telling us one thing and will be telling the media something else"he said
Asked if they have requested for a protest permit, Omorogbe said
"We are actively engaging the police. Our protest is a controlled conversation. Our objectives are clear. 2baba is a peace ambassador. The 2face foundation's primary focus is peace building and advocating for good governance. The protest is a citizens engagement. It is not an organized labor conversation. It is not pro or against anybody or religion. It is unrepresented"he said
Reacting to Blackface and other persons attacking the planned protest, Omorogbe said
"Freedom of speech. It is a free country. The way I have the right to say the sun is quite high and I am feeling hot is the same way someone has the right to say the sun is quite high but I am cold".

106yr old Brazilian granny gets engaged to her 66yr old beau

It's never too old for love. Brazilian pensioner, Valdemira Rodrigues de Oliveira is believed to be the world's oldest person to get engaged after she said 'yes' to her 66yr old lover Aparecido Dias Jacob in a ceremony last Saturday. The lovebirds defied doctors' ban to go ahead with the engagement.
Medics had assessed their health and age and warned the duo, known as Valda and Jaco, would not be able to cope with living on their own.
But after three years together, the senior romantics, who have separate rooms at Nossa Senhora Fatima retirement home in Pirassununga, south east Brazil, were determined to prove age is no barrier to finding your soul mate. The elderly sweethearts exchanged engagement rings in a betrothal service organised by volunteers under an initiative called the 'Project of Dreams' and the event was no puny affair. It was lavishly decorated with a four-tier cake, flowers, cupid ornaments and scattered rose petals. Valda looked her best in a white dress with a fancy in her hair, pearls around her neck, nails painted and comfortable slippers.

She walked down the aisle with her Zimmer-frame decorated with roses.

Speaking about her love for her future husband, the centenarian said:
"I fell in love with him. I like him a lot. If he dies, I die too."
The two lovers have never been engaged and most of Valda's relatives have died while Jaco has lost touch with his family. At the altar, the couple couldn't hold back from sealing the occasion with a passionate kiss before taking their vows in front of the 150 invited guests.

After a short message and prayer, the happy couple said "yes" to stay loyal to each other and exchanged engagement rings. The lovestruck pair met at the residential home for the elderly in 2014 and it was love at first sight for Jaco, who suffers from paralysis of the left arm. He has been living in the home for 19 years after being homeless and unemployed.
He said:
"I fell in love with Valda from the moment I saw her. I know she's a little older than me, but that doesn't matter because she makes me really happy.
"I asked her to marry me and we always believed it would happen but getting engaged is a step forward for us right now."
The inseparable couple spend all day with each other, chatting, eating their meals together and sitting side by side in the home.
"I know it's not going to happen but I would have loved to be able to wash Jaco's clothes, cook his meals and look after him like a wife," Valda said.

It's not true that our borders aren't safe' - Angelina Jolie reacts to Trump's travel ban

Actress Angelina Jolie in a recent op-ed for the New York Times has weighed in on President Donald Trump's immigration ban, accusing him of ignoring facts about how refugees get into the U.S.
"It is simply not true that our borders are overrun or that refugees are admitted to the United States without close scrutiny. Refugees are subject to the highest level of screening of any category of traveler to the United States' she wrote.
Angelina works with the UN's High Commissioner for Refugees. She's also adopted 3 children born outside the country and she says she understands security from terrorism is of the utmost importance, but thinks"our response must be measured and should be based on facts, not fear."

In the article, she never mentions Trump by name, but says she'd want any president to work with people of all faiths around the world to make all nations more secure.

Uber CEO resigns from Trump's advisory council after users boycott uber

Uber’s CEO, Travis Kalanick, has resigned from his position as a member of Trump's economic advisory council after the massive boycott and criticism of the company.
Uber's non participation in the work stoppage called by the New York Taxi Alliance after Donald Trump announced a ban on immigration of seven Muslim countries coupled with the CEO's position in advisory council led to the massive criticism and boycott of about 200,000 users.

Mr Travis Kalanick first released a statement on the issue explaining his stand on the ban order. He revealed he was not in support of the ban and explained ways Uber will help all affected drivers. He however defender his position in the council saying
"Ever since Uber’s founding we’ve had to work with governments and politicians of all political persuasions across hundreds of cities and dozens of countries."
His explanation didn't help much as within a day, their competitor, Lyft surged up to the 5th most downloaded app on iOs. Mr Kalanick decided to leave the advisory council altogether. In a memo sent out to the press, he wrote;
Dear Team,
Earlier today I spoke briefly with the President about the immigration executive order and its issues for our community. I also let him know that I would not be able to participate on his economic council. Joining the group was not meant to be an endorsement of the President or his agenda but unfortunately it has been misinterpreted to be exactly that.
I spent a lot of time thinking about this and mapping it to our values. There are a couple that are particularly relevant:
Inside Out - The implicit assumption that Uber (or I) was somehow endorsing the Administration’s agenda has created a perception-reality gap between who people think we are, and who we actually are.
Just Change - We must believe that the actions we take ultimately move the ball forward. There are many ways we will continue to advocate for just change on immigration but staying on the council was going to get in the way of that. The executive order is hurting many people in communities all across America. Families are being separated, people are stranded overseas and there’s a growing fear the U.S. is no longer a place that welcomes immigrants.
Immigration and openness to refugees is an important part of our country’s success and quite honestly to Uber’s. I am incredibly proud to work directly with people like Thuan and Emil, both of whom were refugees who came here to build a better life for themselves. I know it has been a tough week for many of you and your families, as well as many thousands of drivers whose stories are heartfelt and heart-wrenching.
Please know, your questions and stories on Tuesday, along with what I heard from drivers, have kept me resilient and reminded me of one of our most essential cultural values, Be Yourself. We will fight for the rights of immigrants in our communities so that each of us can be who we are with optimism and hope for the future.
