The Canadian sisters have done a video admitting to being the owners of damaging website, NaijaGistLive.com. They apologized to Femi Otedola and his family and also other petitioners they had written damaging stories about. They claimed they never intended to use to site to extort anyone, that it was BAUDEX, the IT guy behind the site, that was collecting the money.

They said the stories written on the site were sent in by close friends or associates of people written about. NaijaGistLive picked on me a lot. Would have sworn a Nigerian was behind the laptop writing all those horrible things. Never heard of or came across these girls until they were exposed. Girls, what did I ever do to you? Lol. Boko Haram leader Shekau resurfaces in new video, says group "safe and not flushed out of anywhere"

Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau appeared in a new video on Thursday disputing a claim by the Nigerian army that the terrorist group had been uprooted from its Sambisa Forest stronghold. In a 25-minutes video shared online, Shekau who spoke in both Hausa and Arabic, said;

"We are safe. We have not been flushed out of anywhere. And tactics and strategies cannot reveal our location except if Allah wills by his decree. You should not be telling lies to the people. If you indeed crushed us, how can you see me like this? How many times have you killed us in your bogus death? Our aim is to establish an Islamic Caliphate and we have our own Caliphate, we are not part of Nigeria" Shekau said in the video, flanked by masked armed fighters.

It's not clear where and when the video was shot though Shekau claimed it wa shot on Christmas day

An audio tape purported to be that of Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike and his Ekiti state counterpart, Ayo Fayose, discussing his moves at the recently held state legislative rerun election was shared online by Sahara Reporters.

In the video, a voice alleged to be that of Fayose, is heard congratulating someone alleged to be Wike for outsmarting the Army during the election. The voice purported to be that of Wike is heard saying "Kill anybody you can kill". Listen to the video after the cut...

Police begin hunt for cop who killed Malaysia-based man two days to his wedding in Imo State

The Imo State Police Command has launched hunt to nab the Police Inspector, Michael Edem, who allegedly shot and killed Friday Nduka a.k.a Eto, two days to his wedding.

The deceased, a 28-year-old Malaysian-based businessman from Egbuoma in Oguta Local Govt Area of the state, was killed in front of his wife-to-be and younger brother at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Mega filling station located along Owerri road, after a fight with one of the pump attendants who he accused of allegedly stealing his phone from his car dashboard.
