Sisters of Madonna's newly adopted twins say they're happy the girls have been whisked away to a life of luxury, while they struggle in poverty-stricken village

Alinefe and Tifa Mwale (pictured, right), who live in a brick and clay home in the impoverished village of Kayembe in Malawi, say they are delighted for four-year-old sisters Stella and Esther after they were adopted this week. The four-year-old twins, whose mother died in childbirth, are now at Madonna's £32million townhouse in New York after being flown to the US by private jet.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, Alinefe, 15, who lives on a budget of less than 40p per day, said: '‘I am glad they are part of a family and they now have a mother who will love them. I want them to grow old being loved and to have people who cherish them.'

Her younger sister aged 13 said: ‘We only found out a day ago that they were in America. I do not know where that is but we are happy for them. I wish them well and hope their life will be one they are content with.’

The twins' family do not have running water, electricity or a toilet in their home, and father Adam is regularly away looking for work. Madonna had said she felt 'compelled' to seek their adoption after hearing their tragic story.

The twins had been left in an orphanage since birth after their mother Patricia died from a loss of blood following a caesarean section delivery in August 2012.

The home of the twins' father, Adam Mwale, in the village of Kayembe, Malawi, which does not have running water, electricity or a toilet. Their home is a brick and clay building they share with their father, their stepmother Anna and two other siblings, Kennedy, aged seven, and Gladys, aged 18
Basic facilities: With five other families in the cluster of brick and mud huts, the Mwales share a bathroom that has a roof constructed of straw and plastic bags. There is no running water with 32 people who live in their area standing on planks to stop their feet getting muddy
Worlds apart: A large group of children in the scorching sun, as far removed from what the twins will enjoy as humanly possible. Some wore Premier League football shirts with one boy sporting a blue Chelsea shirt with the name Lampard emblazoned on the back. The youngster had no idea who the player was or that Chelsea were a football team
Amid the greenery: The village is in the heart of the lush green maize fields 26 miles from the capital Lilongwe, and Stella and Esther's sisters live on a budget of less than 40p a day
Water supply: Water is brought to homes in the village through a well that the many children take in turns to operate with a handle

Woman in Bayelsa poisons her two children over her husband's failure to provide for them last Christmas

32 year old Helen Okwata Azibabeh, pictured above, is currently in a prison in Bayelsa state after she forced her two children, one year old Gloria and two year old son Innocent, to drink Parafox, a popular herbicide used for curbing weeds, just because their father failed to provide Christmas clothing for them last year.

Azibabeh committed the act in Kolo, Ogbia Local Government area, Bayelsa State on December 22nd last year.

According to The Sun, while the little girl Gloria escaped death by the whiskers, her two year old brother, Innocent, was not so lucky as he died instantly after swallowing the lethal substance.

When interrogated, Azibabeh said the anger she had towards her husband for failing to provide for his family, forced her to commit the crime. She says she regrets her actions.
“I didn’t see any of the Christmas clothes my two children could wear. Early in the morning, I went to the market and bought Parafox, a substance that is used to kill grasses and I gave it to my two children to drink. Gloria was able to survive due to self-medication and hospital treatment, but her brother, Innocent died on the spot after he drank the poison. I ran to my elder sister’s house and confessed to her what I have done to my two children. She assisted me to rescue Gloria by administering some medication, and we later took her to the hospital. Thereafter, she reported me at Kolo Police station and I was arrested. I used to have two children. I killed one by myself, now I am left with only one. I want God to forgive me and intervene in my life. I have learnt my lesson. Nigerians should forgive me,” she said weeping
Confirming the incident, the state commission of police, Amba Asuquo, confirmed the incident and added that the case has been transferred to the homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation Department where the suspect is in detention.

Biko, whose children are these?

As one of them shared on Facebook.

Apostle Suleman adopts 2-day old orphan... as healings, blessings rock 'The Ebenezer 2017'

Since Wednesday, 8th February, 2017, the world attention was turned to Auchi, Edo State, Nigeria, for the 2017 'The Ebenezer' programme in commemoration of the 13th anniversary of Omega Fire Ministries.

The programme themed 'From Glory To Glory' is not only aimed at redeeming straying souls and restoring the well-being of people, it is also targeted at destroying evil machinations in the lives of people across all ages, statuses and races.

Prophecies and healing miracles characterized the first three days of the crusade. One of the significant cases was that of a 2-day old baby who was adopted by the compassionate man of God, Apostle Johnson Suleman.

The baby's case stirred emotions in Suleman when family members who brought him to the crusade ground narrated in tears how his mother had died right after his birth.

With the clarity of spiritual hindsight, the Oracle of God announced to the congregation that the baby was the next target of the evil attack after his mother, therefore, he was going to adopt him.

After praying for the child and family, he offered to assume full responsibilities over the child promising to open a bank account with the sum of N1,000,000 (one million naira) for his upbringing.
While invoking the power of restoration on many others that were plagued by various afflictions which include the lame, the deaf and dumb, and the penniless, Suleman noted that though many are caged by satanic manipulations, God is enough to rescue all from troubles and limitations.

On what drives his confidence, the Oracle of God says God is it. "What drives confidence in life is an awareness of the fact that God is called the author and finisher, alpha and omega. In other words, when He starts a thing, He can and will surely finish it. This is what drives my confidence. Whatever God starts He does not abandon."

'The Ebenezer' comes to an end in the evening of Sunday, 12th, 2017, while preparations begin in earnest for the 'Help From Above 2017' conference which holds between Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st, in Benin City, Edo State.
