Former Prime Minister of Norway held at a US airport over Iranian visa

On January 31, Kjell Magne Bondevik, the former Prime Minister of Norway was delayed for several hours at a US airport. Bondevik told CNN that he was interrogated by officials at Washington's Dulles International Airport because he had an Iranian visa in his diplomatic passport.

"When they found the Iranian visa, where I was in December 2014, they said that there was a regulation that with such a visa I had to be flagged up" Bondevik said.
He added:
"I assumed and presumed that they would let me go immediately. But instead, I was questioned for over an hour. Did they really believe that I presented a problem or threat to the US? I expected they would show more flexibility and wisdom," he said.
Bondevik said he was held along with migrants from the Middle East and Africa who were also facing additional screening.

Although Bondevik was eventually released, he said the atmosphere surrounding President Donald Trump's travel ban had shaken his core values.

Femi Fani Kayode denies agreeing to return N26m to EFCC, says the matter is still in court

In a new statement, Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani Kayode has denied the reports from MITV that he had agreed to return N26m to EFCC. He says that report is false and that the case was adjourned in the Abuja Federal High Court. Read his statement after the cut...

"Reports that are coming out of MITV that Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has agreed to return 26 million naira to the EFCC in an attempt to settle his case at the Abuja Federal High Court out of court with them are false. The matter was adjourned in the Abuja Federal High Court today primarily because a new lawyer in the person of Mr. Ahmed Raji SAN was now handling the case and he needed time to be properly briefed on the matter and to go through the file. Under no circumstances will Chief Fani-Kayode pay any money back to EFCC or any other government agency because he never colllected any money from any government agency in the first place. The reports are false, embarrasing and mischevous."- Jude Ndukwe,  spokesman to Chief Femi Fani-Kayode.

Speak up against Female Genital Mutilation, Ambode's wife charges women groups

Wife of the Governor of Lagos State, Mrs. Bolanle Ambode, through the Asst. Director Public Affairs, Folashade Kadiri, on Monday, called on mothers, women groups and high-powered government organizations, to step up advocacy towards total eradication of female genital mutilation. She made the call in Alausa, Ikeja, while interacting with journalists on the occasion of the 2017 International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation (FGM).
Bolanle who noted that FGM constituted an extreme form of discrimination against women and girls, violating their rights to health, security and physical integrity, wondered why women should continue to suffer such level of dehumanization, just to get social acceptance or avoid social stigma.
She said:
“It is surprising that 45 out of every 100 adult women living in Lagos State have undergone FGM at one time or another as reported in the National Demographic Health Survey 2013. This is largely due to migration from those states where the prevalence in much higher.”
Speaking further, she disclosed that FGM is mostly carried out on young girls sometimes between infancy and age 15, and this causes much bleeding and health issues which include but not limited to cysts, infections, infertility, as well as complications and even death in some cases.

Mrs. Ambode noted further that it was erroneous and misleading to tie the gruesome procedure to family honour, hygiene, fertility, protection of virginity and prevention of promiscuity.

She called for massive public awareness campaigns and concrete actions against the practice.

She contended that only when mothers began to raise their voices against the act and governments initiated strong legislations, could we begin to race toward total eradication of the wicked practice in Africa and the world come 2030.

FGM is inextricably linked with other forms of gender inequality, such as violence against women and girls, and other harmful practices such as early and forced marriages.

February 6 of every year has been set aside by the United Nations as the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation

See how an abusive husband's fuck up was treated by his wife's gym buddies

An abusive husband was given a taste of his own medicine after fit gym guys beat him up for beating his wife that he ended up in the hospital.

According to the story which was told by @Sensei_kk on Twitter, a woman who visits the same gym he frequents and is well loved by all the guys there due to her generosity, came into the gym yesterday morning sporting a black eye. When asked what happened to her she reluctantly revealed she had been beaten by her husband.

Mind you this is not the first time but for their child and for love she's been staying. She also tried defending her husband to the guys, telling them it was a mistake and he was a good man. The guys would have let it slide, except her husband came to pick her from the gym and was harsh towards her there.

They asked him why he beats her and he said she's his wife and he can do whatever he wants with her. Before he could let another word out of his mouth, the gym guys pounced on him, not minding the pleas from his wife. The wife of one of the gym guys works with the Women and Juvenile Unit, WAJU, and they plan to take legal action against the husband...

See this 25 yr old married mum of one who gets paid £45/hr to clean homes completely naked (photos)

25-year-old mum of one, Emily Nikols, is not your regular kind of mum! Ask why? She doesn't provide for her baby daughter with regular jobs that other people engage in, rather, she makes £45 per hour (sometimes even more) washing dishes, cleaning cushions and vacuum cleaning rugs completely naked!
According to Emily from Liverpool, she decided to start the job after hearing about it from a friend which then led her to sign up to firm,Naturist Cleaners on Google.  Emily says the clients are really respectful towards her and don't treat her like a sex object.
She also said her husband cared about her safety at first when she started the job but that the job affords her financial leverage and he is now fine with it.
Speaking to Sun UK, Emily said: “To me cleaning naked is really not a big deal – it is completely normal.
“I’m just a really confident person and am really comfortably with nudity so being naked doesn’t faze me at all.
“While cleaning naked was something I had never done before, it just felt really natural to do.
“This fits in really well round my daughter, and it is a really well-paid job – the money is good for what you have to do.
“So far it has been a really positive experience. There hasn’t been anything which has made me think twice.
“The clients are really respectful and chivalrous. They carry the hoover up the stairs for me and offer glasses of water.
“The most common question people ask is ‘is it warm enough?’ but after a few minutes carrying a hoover around you definitely are.
“My friends and sisters know and are really supportive. My husband was initially a little concerned for my safety but he trusts me – I am an adult.
“I had a baby nine months ago and I’m sure there are people who would think ‘oh my god’ at my body.
“But I’m not there to be a sex object – so it doesn’t matter if I have a few stretch marks on my hips or a baby belly.
“Everyone has a naked body under their clothes, I’m not sure why we’re all so uptight about it.”
Emily added: “Before my first job I was a little bit nervous but it was completely ok.
“The clients are naturists so for them it is completely normal to be naked, and that makes you feel normal and comfortable.
“It’s not about being sexy or about your own body, it’s about making a naturist person feel happy and comfortable.
“They don’t care if you are young and gorgeous or 65 and wrinkly, it’s about being comfortable nude.
“There is only stigma attached because someone attaches a stigma. If the client is happy and confident you feel like it is a normal thing and there is nothing to be concerned or nervous about.
“I arrive clothed because as much as the client and I don’t have a problem with it, that’s not to say the neighbours don’t mind, and get undressed indoors.
“Then we have a bit of chit chat, I do my jobs and then go. I have never felt uncomfortable but if I ever felt there was anything untoward I would be able to leave.”

Antonio Conte reveals he had a public row with Diego Costa

Everything is going perfectly at Stamford Bridge and the title is Chelsea's to lose but coach Antonio Conte revealed there has been a few bumps in the road. Most notably is his falling out with star forward, Diego Costa. The Italian and Costa had a training ground row over the Spain international's fitness resulting in the star striker being dropped.

'I was very clear with him,' Conte told Sky Italia.
'I raised my voice and the player understood. Now everything is perfect.'
Chelsea hold a nine point lead at the table's summit and are already looking like Champions in waiting, Antonio Conte believes the runaway success is due to an unshakeable belief in his methods. 'I have blind faith in what I do,' he explained.
'We had won the first three games, but I didn't like the performances. It was a delicate time, but not dramatic.
'Looking at last season, when Chelsea had practically the same players, you cannot immediately transform from ugly ducking into a swan.
'At the end of the day we found our balance. The blind faith in my ideas helped. I made some strong choices.'
