I only did my part [in making her famous' - Ray J speaks on his sex tape with Kim K again

Ray J's new interview with Heat magazine is causing a whole new kind of storm online. In the interview, he tried to avoid talking about his infamous sex  tape Kim Kardashian but couldn't resist the urge and said:

“I only did my part in making her famous'.
When asked if the reality star was obsessed with fame, he replied saying:
“As a man, I tried to play my part in the situation. If you’re intelligent, you can read between the lines.”
He also referred to Kris Jenner as a “real, true hustler,” which has fans questioning if that means she ‘hustled’ her family into fame by leaking the sex tape.

Odion Ighalo completes £17.1 move to Chinese club Changchun Yatai

Super Eagles of Nigeria striker Odion Ighalo has completed a £17.1 move to Chinese club, Changchun Yatai after weeks of negotiations. Ighalo has scored about 40 goals in 100 appearances since moving to the London club in 2014, but knew his time was up at Watford after they signed Zarate and M'Baye Niang from Fiorentina and AC Milan respectively.

Ighalo wanted to remain at the EPL, but offers weren't coming from premier league clubs and reluctantly agreed to sign for Changchun Yatai, after they tabled a massive  £17.1 for the player, an offer the club couldn't reject.
A statement on Watford's website read:
"The Hornets can confirm that Odion Ighalo has agreed a permanent move to Changchun Yatai.... All at Watford FC thank Odion for his contributions to the club, and wish him the best of luck for his future career."
Odion has flown to China for his unveiling and will soon confirm his transfer on his Social media accounts. Congrats to him!

Court should jail those disobeying its order on Zakzaky, wife’s release - Fayose

Ekiti State Governor and Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum, Ayo Fayose, hascalled on the judiciary to see to it that officials of the federal government that are disobeying court orders, especially the Federal High Court, Abuja judgement, ordering the release of the leader of the Shi’ite Muslim sect, Ibrahim Zakzaky and his wife Malama Zeenah Ibraheem are jailed.
The governor, who praised the judiciary for standing firm in defence of the rule of law, said; “the federal government must proof to the whole world that Ibrahim Zakzaky is still alive by releasing him as ordered by the court.
”Speaking through his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Governor Fayose said the filing of notice of contempt proceedings against the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and the Director General of Department of State Services (DSS) over the disobedience of a court order for Zakzaky’s release was a step in the right direction.
Justice Gabriel Kolawole of the Federal High Court, Abuja had on December 2, 2016 awarded a cumulative sum of N50 million to the Zakzakys and ordered the AGF and IGP to provide him a new accommodation and security in any part of Kaduna or Northern region that they prefer within 45 days, but 60 days after, the judgment is yet to be obeyed.

Governor Fayose, who described as wicked and inhuman, the continued detention of Zakzaky and his wife since December 2015, after the murder of over 300 of his followers; said; “It is even more ridiculous that the DSS claimed that its refusal to release the cleric and his wife was to protect them.

The governor said;
“Obviously, the DSS must be hiding something on this Zakzaky matter because it does not make sense for an agency of government to keep someone in detention for over one year and claim that he is being protected. Against what are they protecting a man who wants his freedom?”
Governor Fayose reminded Nigerians that he had said that the federal government won’t obey the judgment; saying that the APC led federal government was the number one law breaker in the country. He said; "Like Justice Kolawole’s judgment, which ordered the release of Zakzaky and his wife is for posterity, committing those disobeying the judgment to prison will also be on record even if they don’t obey it, and when one day, sanity returns to our body polity, Nigerians will have it on record those who ruled their country like a fiefdom.”

Describing the continuous disobedience to court orders by the federal government as direct invitation to anarchy, the governor said; “Even the military still obeyed court judgements but here we are with a democratically elected government that holds our constitution with contempt.
"The judiciary must therefore have to remain steadfast in its uphold of the rule of law, by punishing those treating the court with contempt so as to save democracy from being destroyed by those presently holding the country by the jugular and do not want anyone that is not in the same political camp with them to exist.”

Woman claims kidnappers of the 3 missing Abuja friends have asked for a $300,000 ransom

According to a Facebook user who says she is a family friend to missing Damilola Oribuyaku, who was kidnapped at Coldstone Creamery in Abuja, the kidnappers have demanded a $300,000 ransom for the release of Damilola and his 2 friends pictured above. Read what she wrote after the cut...

Join Our Prayers for the Safety of Damilola
Engr. Oribuyaku is a family friend. His son, Damilola who just returned from schooling abroad went to have ice-cream at Coldstone, Wuse II Abuja on Friday with two of his female friends. As they were about to get into their cars, a jeep blocked them. The rest was like like a horror film. They were taken and driven off. The abductors are demanding for $300,000.
Engr. Oribuyaku is a hardworking man who has built his businesses with c...lean money. He doesn't have that kind of money.
Please, join us in praying for the safety of these young people in the hands of these criminals. May God let us find them alive and in one piece.
N.B: One of our brothers was hit on the head with the butt of a gun in front of this same ice-cream parlour at Gwarimpa last year. Criminals now target places frequently visited by the middle class. Let us be security conscious as Nigeria is going throug a very hard period. May God save us all from evil, ameen.

Dasuki: FG’s request for secret trial satanic, undemocratic - Fayose

Ekiti State Governor and Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governor’ Forum, Mr Ayodele Fayose has described the Federal Government’s attempt to secretly try the former National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki, by using mask-wearing prosecution witnesses as satanic and mockery of democracy, saying;
“It is becoming obvious that the All Progressives Congress (APVC) federal government has something to hide on the travail of Col. Dasuki because if you were not afraid to call someone a thief in the market place, you should not be afraid to try such a person in the full glare of the public.”
The governor, who said Nigerians should ask the federal government why it was afraid of trying Dasuki openly, noted that;
“Since names of the would-be prosecution witnesses have already been made public, what agenda is the federal pursuing by insisting that its witnesses be given protection by the court by not allowing their names and addresses to be made public in the course of the trial.”
In a statement issued on Wednesday by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Governor Fayose challenged the APC-led federal government to allow live television coverage of the trial so that the federal government can tell the entire world how Dasuki actually stole the $2.1 billion arms money and he (Dasuki) will also defend himself in the full glare of the public.

The governor said;
“You accused someone of corruption in the market place and the person you accused is saying he wants to defend himself in the market place too, but you, the accuser is insisting that the accused must be tried in your bedroom, I think someone is trying to hide something?”
He said it was curious that the Federal Government could approach the court for the second time, seeking for an order to conduct secret trial in a celebrated criminal matter, on which it claimed to have watertight evidences.

Governor Fayose added that even the prosecuting counsel, who filed the application, should be ashamed for allowing themselves to be used as tools to subvert democracy.
“They want Nnamdi Kanu tried secretly. They also want the former Col Dasuki (rtd) tried secretly. What are they afraid of? How is defence counsel going to cross-examine masked witnesses when their real identity cannot be ascertained? Why are the witnesses afraid to testify in an open court if truly they are witnesses of truth? “Obviously, this is satanic. It is against all democratic norms and Nigerians must rise against it,” the governor said.
He called on the court to reject the federal government ploy to use masquerade as witnesses, saying;
“Nigerians are now at the mercy of judiciary, which is the only institution that can save Nigeria from the full-blown dictatorship that the APC government has become.”

The 2Face March - By Charly Boy

Read his piece below...
I no just understand my people some times. Some people go sidon dey look Uche face, dey dulling and the few wey wan do something weather our condition go fit better, na so we go dey yab dem, dey stone dem. I just tire when I read some useless tweets and updates about Tuface.
As a Fada, e no go nice if I just sidon make some guys dey fuckup, dey miss yarn because dem Mumu never Do.
Have we not suffered Enough?
Are we not Hungry Enough?
Has Corruption not crippled our People enough?
Has Political Criminality not damaged our Morality enough?
Wetin remain again, no be to enter street?

If some can't see the sense in the march Tuface is organizing why must they insist on exposing their ignorance on our social highway. If him like make e get 7 kids with 3 babymamas, what has that got to do with the price of garri in the market?
Has TuFace not been actively involved in the demand for good governance before now? So why is it that he has ulterior motives now.

Until we fraustrated Nigerians begin to stand up and fight for good governance at all Level, we go soon chop sand sand.
I am from Oguta in Imo State; I am doing my little bit in empowering the youths, Mothers, Market Women and Disadvantaged people who have no access to a simple normal life. I am also using the Njiko Carnival under The Justice Oputa Foundation to promote not just the historical heritage of the Oguta people, but also the Magnificent Oguta Blue Lake and environs as a tourisim hub in Nigeria, most times with my money. Yet, some people go dey cause me, some just dey like read meanings into my action like say dem dey my mind. But una know say I no send anybody.

We could never have sank this low if it wasn't for our inactions, our docility and our Mumuness.

I support mass mobilisation, mass movement, citizen advocacy, the fight, struggle for a better country and the drive to Emancipate the mind of Nigerians.  I Believe that is what my guy Tuface Idibia wants too.  So we must all commot.
A chain is only as strong as its weakest link.
We are stronger when many speak together as one voice.
We are stronger when we think in the same direction
we are stronger when we project our common values
we are stronger when we are oblivious of tribe/religion in our decision making.

Anyhow, anywhere any day I go show, because Na our future we they fight for. Since last year me and some exceptional nigerian youths are also putting together The Mother of all rally's to be held in Abuja. We must see the end of this nonsense.
Pikin wey say him mama no go rest, him too no go sleep. We they come, them go know how far. Am calling on all celebrities wey get mouth to speak out and fall out. Everybody wey dey fraustrated with this country must show, enough is enough.

I believe that the biggest  threat to governance in Nigeria are the criminal Governors; their stooges at the local government level. The Nigerian National Assembly that is forever breaking Laws instead of making them and the Judiciary where Justice is now for the Highest Bidder. Una go hearam,
The many agencies under the Executive like the CBN; NNPC; RMAFC; Finance and others need to be pressured to introduce accountability into governance. So we all must begin to face those Governor who have Collected Several Bailouts from the Federal Government and Looted them; Those Governors who are taking Security Votes and Looting them; Those Governors who go to the Ministry of Finance Monthly to Collect FAAC Allocations and Loot them; Those Governors who are Refusing to Pay Salaries but have no Problem Chartering Private Jets worth Tens of Millions of Naira.

We must stop hailing the Corrupt and destroyers of our Dreams; We must Expose and ridicule them. We must be audacious in our Demands; we must be Fearless in our Agitation and we must be ready to sacrifice for this Country. Nothing will happen unless we change this our Mumu mindset that has rendered us hopeless.

The divisive politics that we play, is our Enemy; The Nigerian People are the Victim and it is time to channel our anger towards a Peaceful Revolution. We must stop being the victims and become THE FEAR.

If our yeye Leaders no fear us, change no go come.

Very soon they will no longer be able to enjoy all that stolen money in this country again.
God punish bad people.
#OurMumuDonDo.

Now that Meek Mill is gone, Nicki Minaj & Drake reconcile (photos)

Few weeks after Nicki Minaj ended her relationship with, Meek Mill, she has made peace with her longtime friend, Drake. According to TMZ, Drake flew to Miami for a meeting with Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne.

Read TMZ report below...

Nicki Minaj and Drake have ended the cold war that lasted more than 2 years. Nicki posted a photo of herself and Drake Wednesday morning ... with no caption, but we know what went down before they squashed the beef.
Our Young Money sources tell us Drake saw an ESPN segment on January 8 that featured Lil Wayne and Nicki. Drake immediately called label honcho Mack Maine, and said ... "Why didn't you tell me the family is back?" Mack quickly set up a meeting for the full Young Money roster that turned into a peace summit.
We're told Drake hopped on a jet to Miami on January 12, and sat down with Nicki and Wayne. The photo she posted was taken during that meeting. Remember ... Drake and Nicki haven't spoken since they recorded "Truffle Butter" in 2014.
She purposely stayed on the sidelines during his beef with then bf Meek Mill. Nicki announced their split on Jan. 5 -- one week later she was chopping it up with Drake, and we're told everything's cool between the labelmates now.
As Drake said, "I don't wanna hear about this ever again. Not even when she tell him they're better as friends."

Actor, Odunlade Adekola speaks on his recent role portraying a gay man in Nigeria

On the 27th of January, a trailer for a Nollywood movie 'Daudu' was released online and it attracted a lot of interest. Why? Because of the role played by popular versatile actor, Odunlade Adekola. In the clip, he's seen playing the role of a young, unmarried gay man whose parents are not in any way pleased with his sexuality.

Now, while some Nigerians laughed at the role, a few others criticized the supposed promotion of homosexuality.

LIB reached out to the actor for better clarification and he made it clear that the movie was just a make believe, with a certain message to be passed.

Asked how he felt playing the role of a feminine gay man, Odunlade said:
"I am not the one that produced the movie but it was directed by me. As a matter of fact, I played the lead role.. As a director, If you get any script, you just have to study/digest the script, understand what the demands are and know where to contribute. That is what I did."
Asked about his response to those criticizing his role after watching just the trailer, Odunlade said:
"I haven't really seen the criticisms from people and you know a movie is make believe. It is also done to correct a lot of impressions and make people understand more about certain topics. I haven't seen anyone criticize me or any of my jobs (roles). Critics should take time to watch the movie, study it very well and understand what we are trying to say in the movie. We are preaching that what happened in the movie that made the lead actor (Odunlade Adekola) to be a gay man is not good. That's the real message."
"I love Nigerians and all who have supported the industry. I am not against anybody or trying to tackle or fight anyone," Odunlade said.
