One of France's most-wanted terrorist, who was a former choir boy, has turned himself over to the police. 24-year-old Kevin G, who was a Chief headhunter for Islamic State, handed himself over, claiming that he has been reformed. Kevin converted to Islam a decade ago and is believed to have been in charge of getting young French people to sign up to terrorism in Syria and Iraq. Boko Haram members yesterday attacked the Rann IDP camp in Borno state. This attack comes just few days after over 50 people were killed in an accidental air strike by a Nigerian airforce jet in the same camp. According to reports, the sect members stormed the camp at about 6pm, shooting sporadically into the air. They were engaged in a fierce gun battle with troops stationed at the entrance of the camp. Eight of the sect members were killed during the cross fire.

The first bomb fell at 12:30 p.m. and landed just a few meters away from the Red Cross office. The plane circled back around, and it dropped a second bomb five minutes later. arrested for dehumanizing young girls by turning them into human puppies with chains round their necks..

Pretty Mike was arrested on Wednesday January 12th, 2017 by the police on the orders of the Lagos
state government after his photos with girls on dog chains went viral..

Police say PrettyMike cooperated with them, gave them useful statement and was released 

after signing an undertaking to desist from putting any woman or man on a leash to dehumanize them..

His undertaking read:

'I, Mike Eze Nwalie, do hereby undertake to stop whatever act of putting girls on a leash or any 

other degrading treatment to ladies and guys..
I am aware that such act offends the State of Lagos and if I repeat it again, there

will be a legal act towards me..
I undertake to issue a letter of apology to the public effective tomorrow on

all my social media platforms'.

Speaking on the matter, the State’s Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, 

Mr. Adeniji Kazeem said the State Government will not tolerate any anti-social behavior 

that attempts to dehumanize any citizen in the State. .


Kazeem restated the government’s determination to prosecute any individual or group of persons

 who violate any law of the State under any guise.

“The Lagos State Government is committed to the protection of the rights of all citizens

including children, women and all the vulnerable persons in the State,” Kazeem said.

A woman who once complained about 'bad blacks' allegedly shot an African American 

teenager in the head when he walked past her house.

Elizabeth Cannon is accused of shooting 15-year-old Vernon Marcus Jr as he walked

 past her home with a group of friends just before 8pm.

Cannon claims she shot the boy in self defence, according to police.

Somehow the teen managed to survive his injuries and was in hospital this morning in a critical but
stable condition.


Hours before the shooting, Cannon, 47, had called the sheriff's office because "kids were throwing 

rocks at her home," an official said.

She claimed Marcus and several of his friends had been hurling rocks at her house for months

 and that "things got worse" after she called police last week.

"They'd get the biggest rocks, when they would see us in the yard, they would glare at us and 

say 'I know you're the ones who called police on us.'"

Then, on Monday evening, Cannon said Marcus and his friends came back while she was in the front yard.

Cannon, who lives with her husband and 16-year-old daughter was charged with two counts of 

aggravated assault but was released on bail.

Gambian President-elect, Adama Barrow, has been sworn into office at the Gambian embassy in Dakar, Senegal. He took his oath of office this evening.

 "This is a day no Gambian will ever forget in a lifetime," Barrow said in a speech immediately after being sworn in.
