Nigerian pastor urges married women who are working to submit their salaries to their husbands at the end of the month

A pastor's sermon on Sunday has become the subject of a heated debate on Twitter after a church member shared one of the topics raised by the pastor in his Sunday preaching.

In his sermon, the pastor told all married women who wanted to have a happy home that the key to that is to submit their salaries to their husbands monthly.
If she needs money for anything, she is to go to the husband and plead for money to meet her needs, but he has to be the one in charge of the money.He was, however, quick to secure his interest by reminding the women to remove their tithe first before submitting the rest of the salary to her husband, you know, just in case the man will refuse to give her money out of her salary to pay the tithe.

What's surprising is that a few Twitter users agree with him, most of them male users. One replied, saying,

"If you can't entrust (him) with a salary, how can you trust him with leading you thru life, trust him to father your children."

The same user went on to suggest that women who wouldn't hand over their salaries to their husbands should get divorced.

In the video, the female officer is seen giving a blow job to the male police officer and at a point, she paused as they heard the call to head to a crime scene, but continued.

What will your generation do for Nigeria? ex President Olusegun Obasanjo ask Nigerian youths

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday asked Nigerian youths what would their generation do to make Nigeria a better place. According to him, although his generation had failed Nigerians in some area, it cannot be denied that his generation brought about the Unity of the country. He said this when he spoke at the one day symposium organized by the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mines and Agriculture (KADCCIMA).

"My own generation fought for the unity of Nigeria. You cannot deny that. There are many things we must have done wrong but we fought for the unity of this country. I still have sharp nails from grenades that entered my body that our brothers shot at me during the civil war. But, at the end of it we reconciled. In addition, my generation laid the foundation of democracy in the country. Our democracy is not perfect, our democracy is a journey and not a destination, and we must continue to improve on it. My sons and daughters, what will your generation do? Condemnation is easy but what will you do? There are some people who have taken the bull by the horn and tried their best. But, all in all Nigeria.is still intact. There are many countries that fought civil wars and they are not together. Yugoslavia, Pakistan, Sudan, we fought a civil war sadly, but we are still together. I think for God and thank those who made that possible”he said

Over 40,000 people sign petition for Obama to run for the president of France

Some French Citizens, faced between the choice of electing scandal-hit politicians, are opting to hire Barack Obama as the president of France.

A campaign spreading across France has garnered support with over 40,000 people putting their signature on a petition to have Obama run for the French presidency.
Organizers of the unofficial Obama17 campaign have spread posters across Paris with the slogan "Oui on peut" which translates in English to mean "Yes we can ".

The organizers of the campaign revealed that they are aiming to get a million signatures by May 15th. Though aware that it will be impossible for a foreign national to contest for the seat of the president, the organizers revealed that the current election campaign in France is a failure and that the current situation of their country called for radical choices. They revealed that Obama has the best resumé in the world to do the job.

“The French are ready to make radical choices - that is good because we have a radical idea to propose to them,” a statement partly read.

''To launch this 6th Republic, we wish to strike a blow by electing a foreign President as the leader of our beautiful country.

“Barack Obama has completed his second term as President of the United States on 21 January, why not hire him as the President for France?”

Marine Le Pen, Emmanuel Macron, François Fillon, Benoît Hamon, Jean-Luc Mélenchon are candidates contesting for the President of the French Republic. Most of the candidates have been hit by scandals thereby causing citizens to campaign for a foreign president.

In the early hours of today, there was a fire incident at BankyW's home in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos (See here here). The singer has now revealed all that went down. In a post made via his Instagram page just now, he wrote,

So there's good news and bad news. The good news is... I'm thanking God that I'm alive to give the bad news as a testimony. Bad news is...

I was laying awake in bed at about 6am , and I just started smelling smoke. Stood up to shut off my tv and ac and realized it was coming from outside my door. Opened it to see the whole stairway was filled with huge gusts of black smoke/soot, and a fire was burning stuff downstairs. The smoke was so much I couldn't get down past it to see the source of the flames. Rushed back into my room and climbed down from the 2nd floor balcony with my dog... and then got help from the amazing workers and neighbours who helped me put out the flames.

Turns out the ac in the living room had caught fire.. I know a lot of ppl have been trying to call and I appreciate it. Maybe the fire burnt some of the network in the house because I can't receive calls LOL 😂, but instead of calling to say sorry pls just maybe say a prayer and thank God with me.

Thank God I was awake to smell the smoke. Thank God we caught it early enough and the damage wasn't so bad.. it basically burnt some of the stuff that was around it. So awards, portraits, and some small electronics. But thank God, Duke and I are alive and well. We only had to form James Bond and climb down from the top floor balcony LOL 😂😁 Thank God for my neighbors and the amazing workers in and around the compound for helping us escape via the balcony, helping put out the fire, and helping with the aftermath/cleaning.

Thank God for life. And I'm not even upset.. I'm just grateful for life and health and for the grace and mercy of God on my life. I figure I'm about to have the best year ever so the devil tried to throw a tantrum. But not today Satan. Not today, not ever. Now sit back and watch me be great. By God's grace. Amen. God bless you all.

Presidential aide, Lauretta Onochie, comes for Dele Momodu over his article comparing Pres Buhari and Osinbajo's leadership style

Media personality, Dele Momodu, two days ago published an article titled "Before President Buhari Returns Home". In the article, Momodu compared the leadership style of President Buhari and his Vice, Yemi Osinbajo who has been acting President for over a month now. Momodu in the article, credited Osinbajo for doing most of the things many Nigerians had wanted President Buhari to do in the last two years. Presidential aide, Lauretta Onochie, who read the article, felt there is no basis for comparing both men as they came into office on a joint ticket. She berated Momodu for making such comparison, adding that with a mindset like this, it is sad that Momodu is clever by a half. Read more of her tweets after the cut.

The Delta state police command have arrested a suspected armed robber, Gift Ogoni, pictured above, who pretended to be a land seller only to rob his victim. Read the press statement from the police after the cut.

On the 12/02/2017, one Panama Ovuodeyorem (m) of Ughelli was called on phone by the suspect, Gift Ogoni( m) with the pretence to sell a parcel of land.

The victim located the suspect who ordered him to move his vehicle to a lonely road. While the victim was on his way towards the lonely road, he forced the vehicle into a filling station and raised alarm which attracted a police team who arrested the suspect and recovered one locally made cut to size gun, five cartridges and two ropes.

On interrogation, the suspect confessed to the crime, adding that, he and one Kenneth (m) robbed the victim of One Hundred thousand naira and his two phones on 30/11/2016 in the same method.

Mr Fabio Phiri, a Taxi driver from Lusaka, Zambia and his wife Priscilla Phiri, a maid at China Engineering and Construction limited welcomed a beautiful baby boy into their family six moths ago.

Despite the fact that the baby obviously looks mixed and that the woman may have been doing more than cleaning and cooking for her former boss, the young couple are very much happy and have thanked God for blessing them with a beautiful baby boy.

Bola Tinubu says he cannot rule out the possibility of ruling Nigeria

In an exclusive chat with Sahara Reporters, National Leader of APC, Bola Tinubu, says he cannot rule out the possibility of him ruling Nigeria. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu last Friday, Tinubu said:

“You see there is nothing wrong with such ambition. It depends on the timing and the environment and what political leadership dictates. I will not brush aside such an aspiration. It has been historical even that Buhari tried first, second, third, and forth before he got it. Resilience, determination, and clarity of purpose. Maybe as a senator, maybe as a president, you cannot rule it out. How can I rule such a thing out, the opportunity to service my country but you only do that when there is a vacancy”.
